Reject Doomsday Prophecies

The devil is the father of lies and deception. People fall prey to the devil because they lack knowledge about the true nature of God and His promises (Hosea 4:6), and because they lack the ability to discern spirits (1 Corinthians 12:10; 1 John 4:3).

Unfortunately, there are false teachings, doctrines, traditions, and prophecies circulating in the church that are attributed to God when they were actually inspired by the devil to steal from, kill and destroy God’s children. Perhaps some are the product of legitimate prophets who are dangerously immature in their gift. Either way, these voices miss the mark of God.

The danger of falling prey to the deceptions of the devil is one of the reasons why it is critically necessary for every Believer to learn how:

  • To hear God’s voice
  • To flow in the prophetic
  • To discern spirits

For the purpose of this article I want to focus on the ability to discern spirits because there is a man who received a very accurate vision about the attempted assassination of President Donald J. Trump. The pressing question is: Does this one accurate prophecy validate this man as a reliable mouthpiece for God? No, it most definitely does not! A lot of people can see into the spirit realm, including psychics.

I researched this man’s prophecies and discovered that he “sees” into the spirit realm and receives a great deal of horrific doomsday prophecies, such as the financial collapse of America from which she NEVER recovers. He attributes this nightmare scenario of destruction and devastation to God “correcting” His children by humbling them until they are stripped from all pride. He predicts four years of terrible devastation in America under President Trump, and then a short lived revival before the saints are raptured.

This man had no Good News to offer God’s people. I discerned while listening to him that he was influenced by the wrong spirit. So I asked God how this guy was able to get such a spot-on vision about the assassination attempt. This is what Jesus said to me during our two-way journaling conversation:

“________ is tapping into the spirit realm, like a psychic. He is not hearing My Word or seeing My Work. America will be great again, and prosperity will rise up again in the USA. Shalom. Believe in My Shalom.”

This man was able to tap into the spirit realm and pick up on the plans of the devil—I hope that we can all agree that the attempted assassination of President Trump was hatched in hell. The same is true for all of the horrible doom and devastation being prophecies today, as well as the open attacks on the true prophets of God who are prophesying victory in Christ.

When people confess the devil’s plans for America as if they were being orchestrated by God, or grow in fear of these doom and gloom prophecies as if the devil was capable of defeating God’s children, and then begin looking for the signs that these horrible events are on the horizon, then they are unwittingly coming into agreement with the devil and actually giving life to the devil’s plans.

What you believe matters! A great deal!! You can give life to what you believe in, so please stop believing in the devil’s plans for America.

God has plans to make America great again. The MAGA movement is a move of God. He has plans to give America abundant life and prosperity, and to allow her to continue to shine brightly as a beacon of Freedom and Truth. It will take a miracle, but God is in the miracle making business.

I encourage you to reject the Doomsday prophecies seeking to curse our nation. I don’t mean that there are no legitimate prophecies in which God warns His people of upcoming danger. Of course there are, but these legitimate prophecies are always crowned with victory through Jesus Christ. Stand on the firm foundation of His Word where our Lord has promised us abundant life (John 10:10), and victory over every work of the devil (2 Corinthians 20:4-5):

  1. But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the LORD; their vindication will come from me. I, the LORD, have spoken! (Isaiah 54:17, NLT)
  2. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished. If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! The LORD says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.” (Psalm 91:7-16, NLT)

Doomsday prophecies paired with the rapture make toxic theology. I have never believed in the rapture. It is an unbiblical teaching that originated in 1830 because of a dream that a teenage girl had. There is no truth in this dream. So please do not plan on escaping planet earth while the “sinners” suffer unspeakable torment from the antichrist.

The Bible clearly promises that the righteous will inherit the earth. It is our responsibility to establish God’s Kingdom on earth and to prepare a good inheritance for the next generation. You can’t fulfill these mandates from God without Holy Spirit inspired hope. Doomsday prophecies are one of the devil’s strategies for robbing God’s people of their hope—and the power propelled by righteous hope.

Plant roots on earth. Look to God, and believe that, “the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.” (1 John 4:4)
