Everyday Miracles #13: An Unexpected Assignment From God

God speaks to us in many ways: Dreams, two-way journaling, angelic ministry, through His prophet, the revelatory gifts, etc.

One Word from God can change the direction of your life and release the answers you need to succeed in your life. Hearing God’s voice is a prerequisite for living the victorious, abundant life that Jesus promised us. It was because I heard God’s voice that I am engaged in the ministry of designing prophetic jewelry.

A woman at the School of the Prophets, where I am being mentored, released a Word about God calling me to design “prophetic jewelry.” I had never heard of prophetic jewelry. This seemed too off point since I was launching a POD (Print-on-demand) business, selling Christian and motivational tees and totes. Is it possible to even make jewelry POD? I was doubtful. However, this prophet had so much conviction and confidence in her Word that I decided to ask the Lord about it. We discussed it through two-way journaling, and I received a confirmation.

Once I embraced the Word, the Holy Spirit was able to move. Over the next month I received three more Words from unrelated prophetic voices, including promises of divine Wisdom and angelic ministry. Only two weeks after the first prophetic Word was released I had a dream in which I was given an open door to angelic ministry from the two angels newly assigned to help me with my prophetic jewelry—Zack and Patricia.

I arrived at this place in my spiritual journey in which I flow in the Spirit and daily live supernatural encounters, because I received anointed, biblically based teaching from ministries like the School of the Prophets with Ivan Roman, and the School of the Spirit with Mark Virkler and Charity Virkler Kayembe.

Building spiritual strength requires training and equipping by those who are authentically called by God. I am so very grateful to all the anointed ministers who impacted my life, but none of their ministry would have blessed me if I had not first learned how to hear God’s voice for myself. So I consider Mark Virkler’s teaching on The 4 Keys To Hearing God’s Voice as foundational.

Hearing God’s voice for ourselves is so critical because our mentors can’t walk beside us everyday. And if they did literally walk beside us daily, then we would become dependent on them and they would become an obstacle to our relationship with God instead of a catalyst. We need to gratefully embrace our mentors’ impartations and then implement them in our life for ourselves. Every single member of the body of Christ can live naturally supernaturally if they will get equipped and then position themselves for the Holy Spirit to flow freely.
