Downloads From Heaven #3: John Got it Right

Last night I began studying John and all of the statements about who Jesus said he was. This heavenly download came to me in the middle of the night:

“All the ideas that John brought forth about who Jesus is are right.”

Q: Dear Lord, do you have any comments about this download from heaven?

A: John My beloved was the Apostle of Love. That was his calling—to be My ensign of love. And so he is still, because his written testimony lived on after his departure from earth. John’s words are just as true today as they were when he penned them.

Take note: John’s written words were not only John’s words. He recorded—in partnership with the Holy Spirit—what he witnessed first hand. John recorded what I said about who I Am, and anyone who does not believe that I Am who I said I Am will die in their sins just as surely today as they did in John’s day.

Study John. He recorded the truth under the influence of the Holy Spirit. The only work required to receive salvation is to believe that I Am who I said I Am, but salvation is the door, not the destination.

The door is the entrance to My kingdom, where I am the Bridegroom. Your destination is to the center of My kingdom; the center of My heart; living together forever in intimate relationship with Me in My kingdom—the paradise of God.
